You can permanently delete your account from Profile. Sift asks for your password and a typed confirmation word first, then removes your account, your saved preferences and every scan linked to it. The Privacy Policy lists what deletion removes and what it cannot reach.

Photos are now checked before a scan runs. An image too dark, too blurred or too far from a label is refused up front rather than transcribed badly and reported as a result.

Diet findings that rest on an ingredient term which has not yet been hand-checked against its source are labelled as unverified in the result, instead of reading like a settled answer.

A scan interrupted by a dropped connection can be retried without taking the photo again.
